It may appear to be harder than ever to find properties that are affordable these days, but there’s no doubt that you can still find properties that are affordable in the market. The trouble at the moment is that people are still assessing the value of their homes against the prices being achieved a few years ago, which means there are plenty of properties available for large sums of money. This leaves a lot of properties on the market that just aren’t going to sell. Of course, if you have good timing, you can sometimes pick these properties up when they drop in value a year or so down the line when the vendors realise that they haven’t had a sniff at the price they are asking.

Normally auction property is priced more fairly simply because the sellers and the auctioneers are looking to get a sale on the day of the auction.
